Choosing the right version of EZ Notes Search

What is EZ Notes Search?

IBM®  Notes®  users can search their Notes databases (NSF files) using Microsoft®  Windows®  Search through the use of our  EZ Notes Search connector.  Windows Search is very fast and easy to use: click the Start button and just start typing and you will see search results from your email, archives, other NSF files/applications, attachments and your files all at once.

EZ Notes Search has been available for several years now and we have developed different products to meet different customers' needs.  If you would like to see EZ Notes Search in action you can see it on our YouTube video.

Which Product Should I Buy?

One of the most frequent questions we get from customers is this:

  • What version of EZ Notes Search should I buy?

The table below should help you answer that question based on your usage of IBM Notes and the version of your operating system.

How do I find out if I have 32 or 64 bit Windows 7?

The product you choose must be the correct version of EZ Notes Search for your hardware platform.  On Windows 7 you should determine what version of Microsoft Windows you have by performing the following steps:

1. Click the Start Button
2. Put your mouse over the Computer menu item and using the right mouse menu, select Properties
3. In the System section you will see an item called "System Type".  This will tell you if you have a 32 bit or 64 bit operating system.
